You can go a little apricot while
dieting and still lose weight! The key to losing weight is
changing to a diet that is lower in calories and a diet that contains healthy benefits.
Dried apricots add sweetness to our diet cookie recipe without adding a lot of calories and fat. In turn,
the use of Splenda in place of sugar saves a huge 800 calories;
another good purpose of the use of apricots is that they allowed
us to cut the amount of vegetable shortening used, in half.

- 1 cup of sifted flour
- dash of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of sifted baking
soda
- 1/4 cup of solid vegetable
shortening

flour if necessary to form a pliable dough. Shape and bake
