The Hunt For The Caveman Diet
Modern Day Caveperson 'Ire' of
an undisclosed gender, stepped out to forage. This daily event is better
known as 'The Hunt'.
Frolicking through the playground of the Modern Day Market is not exactly
a mirror of prehistoric days, so Ire, The Gatherer, must imagine the squawk of
a parrot looming overhead on a twisted branch of a tree. Ire must also imagine the feel
of dirt, pebbles, and moss beneath his feet while on
The Hunt (spilled sugar). And
those kids squeaking in the distance? Well, Ire envisions them as Modern Day
Monkeys. Now that the scene is set, let's go Gathering....
As a Modern Day Caveperson, just like Ire, you must look for healthy, good AND tasty things to bring to your Modern Day Cave (i.e. den). Keep in mind as you shop that you are a Gatherer - no longer an everyday Hunter because time overtook that phase of life.
As you gather, pluck up natural foods first as they are lowest in calories and fat. Next, gather basic products such as bread, yogurt and cheese. Stick to skimmed products as they are the lowest in calories and fat.
Foods that have been processed and turned into delicacies, gourmet and exotic foods will hold more calories, more fat and aren't generally diet-wise in the least!
So gather and gather naturally - or as close as you can to 'naturally' to achieve the most out of your weight loss plan.
