The Stone Age Caveman Diet

Natural Diet Plan

Which of the following appeals most to you at the moment?  A crisp red apple with a dab of homemade peanut butter or a wedge of apple pie? Surprisingly, both are popular breakfast items.

Both contain nutritional elements.  Both are delicious.  So what is the big difference when it comes to diet and weight loss?

The Apple & Homemade Peanut Butter

The apple and homemade peanut butter are considered natural foods.  Foods that are closest to their natural state generally contain the fewest calories.

Most wedges of apple pie contain about three times the amount of calories as our apple and homemade peanut butter treat, with far less nutritional values.  The good thing about the apple pie is that the main ingredient is the natural apple. Most apple pies also contain cinnamon which has been proven to yield health benefits and cure ills - from its potency as a natural mouthwash and stomach settler to a cancer fighter.

The other great thing about that wedge of apple pie is that if you must indulge, do such in the morning when the body is in need of sugar and fat from the overnight fast.  The bad news is that you'll need to add the calorie content to your overall calories for the day.  Oh well, it's hard to be all good, isn't it?
