how can my wife and i make adult friends?
we are new to the northern illinois area and have trouble making friends to hang out with. we have 2 young kids and enjoy movies, cards, darts, baseball and football. How can we meet like minded couples to spend time with?
work is not really an option, my wife is jobless at the moment, and I am 30 years younger than everyone I work with, plus I am their boss, would be strange.
Well I’m definitely not married, but I just moved to a new state. Why doesn’t your wife take the kids to the park, or try to meet with your children’s new friends mothers from school. She can set up play dates where they come to your home and have coffee/chat. You could invite the mothers and their husbands over for dinner.
